A 2d platformer in which players go through the whole level over and over again and can never go back. Players will try to solve the puzzles through bring consequences to the level through pass the level repeatedly, and finally find out the roots for his own sin and misfortune.
This is the first game jam I'd joined. I made it with my classmate Chen and Kim. The theme of this Jam is Root, and we have adopted the abstract concept of Root-something that is an origin or source. Each action in the game will see a change at the next point in time, like the fruit that comes out of a planted root. We encourage the player to keep exploring the changes brought about by the different actions in the game on the next loop, and to try to utilize these changes to solve the puzzles, and discover the root of potagonist's depression.

For the game's melancholic, depressing atmosphere, I decided to use black as the main color of the game. but meanwhile, the whole set including the character, with the were added a glowing effect to make them readable.
